The Tech Booth Ltd. was established in January 2019 by the Owner/Proprietor of Kiveton PC Repairs, Dominic Booth, with the ethos “computer repairs, minus the nonsense”.
We are a friendly bunch with a combined experience of over 20 years offering expert services including virus/malware removal, repairs, upgrades, maintenance, data recovery and networking.
We also offer expert advice. We believe in Freud’s adage “Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar”. If we wouldn’t use a piece of equipment, we wouldn’t expect you to either. If we feel something isn’t fit for purpose, that’s exactly what we’ll tell you. If we feel that massive improvements can be gained by a simple upgrade, that’s exactly what we’ll advise.
We have our own workshop based in Killamarsh, Sheffield but we also provide remote support and visits to your home or business premises.

We work closely with our customers to provide you with what you need, not simply want. We make sure that all products we recommend are products that we personally would feel comfortable using. We wouldn’t struggle using hardware that isn’t fit for purpose and believe that neither should you. At the same time, we don’t believe in using an expensive state-of-the-art piece of equipment for simple web browsing. We strive to find the perfect price-to-performance ratio.

People who know Dominic know he stands for quality at an affordable price. He has a firm understanding of the latest web technologies. Preferring Intel processors, he has built his hardware expertise around this. Dominic is a fan of Italian cars and is a self-professed Fiat fanatic.
Richard Godbehere
TechnicianOur hardware guru. Richard has an extensive understanding of desktop and laptop hardware with a strong emphasis on AMD systems, but also in-depth knowledge of Intel based systems. Richard has a knack for short listing problems into their potential causes making him efficient at diagnosis. Like a dog with a bone, Richard will not let go of a problem until he has a solution. A true Yorkshire lad, Richard is fuelled by Yorkshire Tea.
